September 19- the big day for all the iphone users. With the release of iOS 13 which brings with it a host of new features, improvements, and app updates.
iOS 13 is the thirteenth and current major release of the iOS mobile operating system developed by Apple Inc. The successor to 12 version, it was announced at the company’s Worldwide developers conference on June 3, 2019, and was released on September 19, 2019.
Photos and Camera
Portrait Lighting control
Virtually adjust the position and intensity of each Portrait Lighting effect, so you can easily sharpen eyes or brighten and smoothen facial features just like a photographer in a studio would.
Dark Mode introduces a dramatic new look for iPhone. It’s thoughtfully designed to make every element on the screen easier on your eyes and is seamlessly integrated throughout the system. And it’s simple to turn on from Control Centre or set to automatically turn on at night.
With a dark background for the home screen and in all sorts of apps, from messages to photos. look more immersive.
A streamlined editing experience gives you powerful new tools and better control over effects. Adjustment dials make it easy to apply an edit.
When you do, you can see at a glance which effects have been increased or decreased.
Privacy and Security
Sign in with Apple
Privacy!! its an important factor though-Now you can sign in to apps and websites with the Apple ID you already have. No filling out forms or creating new passwords. Just tap “Sign in with Apple” and after a quick Face ID or Touch ID confirmation, you’re all set.
Instead of filling out forms, verifying email addresses, and choosing new passwords, you can use Sign in with Apple to set up an account and start using your app right away. All accounts are protected with two-factor authentication for superior security, and Apple will not track users’ activity in your app or website.
HomeKit Secure Video
Footage from home security cameras contains your most personal and sensitive data. So Apple designed an end‑to‑end encrypted system where your video is stored securely to iCloud, where only you and the people you invite into your Home app can view it. It’s free with an iCloud account and doesn’t count against your storage plan.
It is a faster, easier way to do all kind of useful things. The Shortcuts app is now built in and brings together shortcuts from your apps with the ones you’ve created.
Shortcuts are also more conversational, so you can do things like tell Siri “Order home delivery from Caviar”, and Siri will pull up a list of restaurants you previously ordered from along with your favourite dishes from each one.
All-new reminders app
Now it’s even easier to create and organise reminders. The quick toolbar lets you add dates, times, locations, flags, photos and scanned documents. And Siri suggests reminders you might want to add, like creating a reminder while you make plans in Messages.
iOS 13 is even faster than iOS 12. For example, Face ID now unlocks up to 30 per cent faster. As the unlocking speed is increased the performance get more enhanced and smoothe.
Faster app launch
With iOS 13, apps from the App Store will be packaged in a new way that makes them up to 50 per cent smaller the first time you download them, up to 60 per cent smaller on average when apps are updated and up to twice as fast to launch.
That slight pause as you wait for your phone to unlock could be almost imperceptible. Face ID is still what it is, and iOS 13 doesn’t make major changes to how it’s used, its accuracy, or its range or field of view. Those sorts of changes will probably require a second-generation TrueDepth sensor (which may come in a future iPhone).
